The cover art fits the title without giving away anything about the story itself. My first impression of the book is that I am not really sure where it is heading. It starts off slowly and really did not attract my attention. Because I am a big fan of the author's Jane Tennison series, I would be curious to see how the characters are brought together in a cohesive book. Widows is a crime thriller that I would seek out from the library and I reserve judgment until I read the whole novel.
