I really enjoyed this sequel. I find the ladies to be very interesting, especially as their relationships evolve now that things and time has changed, the new characters are well written and the action continued from page to page. My interest was kept through out the book. While I strongly suggest reading the first book, there is a very nice abbreviated synopsis at the beginning of this book which will give you the basics of the past. Reading the first book first is a better idea though, as there are things not mentioned in the synopsis that help in the story to come. Overall, I found it very enjoyable, though with less humor than the first book, this is more thriller. I won an ARC from BookishFirst and the publisher and this is my honest opinion.
