The Widow's Revenge is the sequel to The Widows. Often times you can read a series out of sequence, but I would not recommend it this time. There's some background given, but reading the first book truly sets you up for the story to come. Plus it is almost impossible not to give away a plot point for Widows, so I suggest you turn back now if you haven't read the first book.

The widows are now in Rio and trying to decide what to do with the money that they stole following their husbands failed heist. Dolly has been bitterly betrayed by her husband Harry, but he's not done with her or the other widows just yet. Harry wants what's his and nothing, not even a wife will get in his way. There are ups and downs and twists and turns, and even though the odds are stacked against the widows, I wouldn't count them out just yet. These are some gutsy women and it's an enjoyable and fast-paced read. I'll be looking out for what this author writes next. A fun read that had me rooting for the underdog.
