I was under the impression that I could read this book even if I hadn't read book number 1.
I was wrong, the author doesn't summarize or catch the reader up about book number 1.
So, this was a Did Not Finish for me. I was sent an ARC by the publisher for review. I really don't want to go back and read book number 1.
I really can't stand when publishers send out a second book in a series. I feel like it's a ploy to get readers to buy the first book. I think the author should have written in a little about book number 1.
Overall, I'm disappointed that the author found no need to catch the reader up on book number 1 and I'm sad I had to not finish. I don't think this book was for me anyway. Reason for the 2 star, ok rating: Loved the cover!
