"Widows' Revenge" is Lydia LaPlante's sequel to the best-selling mystery / thriller, "Widows". The first follows a group of women who seek to exact revenge on the men who were directly involved in the deaths of their husbands. "Widow's Revenge" continues in a fun way that was not entirely necessary. I felt the first had wrapped up nicely with an ambiguous ending that did not require a sequel. However, the sequel did provide with some fun thrills, chills, and exciting moments, as the story continues after the four main ladies complete their successful heist. We see motives change, emotions alleviate, and the dynamic shifts. Dolly's husband had faked his death, so now he plans to take his revenge on the women.

It was a fun soap opera / Lifetime story that wasn't as great as the first, but I enjoyed the wild ride.
