Widows' Revenge continues the action and the drama from Widows, as this novel starts right where the previous one left off. Dolly Rawlins, Linda Pirelli, Bella O'Reilly, and Shirley Miller are on the run from Harry, who is determined to get both his money and his revenge. As the women try to keep a pace ahead of their enemy, they get wind of another get rich scheme in the making. Are the odds stacked against the women or will they be able to outwit the criminal mastermind?

This novel is largely more of the same, which was disappointing. It seems as though the women did not learn anything from their previous experience and are bound and determined to make the same mistakes. I expected more from Widows' Revenge, but I found it to be mostly the same as the first book. With so much at stake, I did not find it realistic that Dolly would leave Linda and Shirley to their own devices. As these two women were the weak links to begin with, it seemed illogical that Dolly would not pay closer attention to them. Overall, Widows' Revenge was a fast paced novel with some good action. Readers should definitely start with Widows for the continuity of the story.
