I loved how a summary of what happened in the previous book was provided at the beginning as that book sounded much more interesting than the start of this one. Nothing about this book really jumped out at me and made me think I needed to read it or I'd be missing out. Perhaps if I had read the first book in the series I would have been more interested in the characters. The only way I would take a chance on this one is if I read and enjoyed the first book.
