I haven't seen a book based in modern-day Korea and I loved it. The words seemed so truthful from the first page onwards. the writing style seems so straight forward. I loved the way the author mixed in the paranormal with the modern Korea atmosphere. there seems to be a lot of spirit lore in the novel. the novel is about Miyoung who can see spirits and has to hunt every full moon. the elements of the Korean culture make me feel like I am there in Korea with her in a market and I love it. Normally most books aren't in the point of view of what people would say is a villain. in the novel, she isn't the hero to the people from the beginning. Also, the writing style is very easy to read and I very much have enjoyed it
