Set in modern day Korea this story is an incredible tale of love, loss, and folklore. The main characters are so easy to love throughout the story even when they aren't at their best. You can't help but root for Miyoung to find love and happiness. This story keeps you hooked from the start I read it in one sitting and couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks. This is a story that will stay with you. You can tell this book is the author's love letter to her culture and to be honest it had me falling in love with Seoul! The book and the characters are also seriously funny I found myself laughing out loud at times and then crying immediately after because of something touching. I cannot express how much I loved this book it will be one I read over and over.
