These are the kind of YA stories that I love. A little romance, a little paranormalish mystery, and a fun cast of characters that keep the plot moving! What more could you ask for??
The first thing that caught my eye with this one was that Gu must devour the energy of men in order to survive. Say what?!? Amazing! I loved that the author didn't just make this a part of her story, she didn't shy away from making it a huge part of the story and delivering it in all its glory. I don't know many authors who could pull this off so bravo!
This whole story kept me on my toes. There were so many twists that I never say coming and I just loved it from page one! I cannot wait for more from this author!
