For a debut, this is a great story.
- It is creative.
- It represents a culture that isnt as mainstream,
- Solid characters, and the writing is easy to read.
The way that food was described truly made my mouth water, the writing was delicious and I really look forwards to having more to read from Ms. Cho. The one thing I would like to nitpick at is the fact that some parts of the story seemed like filler. It could have been shortened significantly without harm to the actual story. However, as I stated before, this is pretty sold for a debut novel and I'm really, really looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Another book, here I come!
