This book sounds like an interesting fantasy, magic and cultural mix. I have not read any books by this author before so I don’t have any previous bias, so with that said I thought the characters sounded like they would be engaging and draw me into the story. I had not heard of this book before but after reading the snip-it I added it to my to be read list as a must read. I am excited to jump into a new fantasy world. I enjoy a lot of Asian based stories and this one kinda reminds me a bit of Julie Kagawa’s most recent novel Shadow of the Fox, with the magic and fantasy based Kitune shifter theme it makes me think that if you liked Julie Kagawa’s Shadow of the Fox novel that you would enjoy this book. I can’t wait to jump in!
