There were things about this book I liked...the relationships between the characters friend group for one. I liked that there was a twist and that the characters were flawed and real, but that character development could have been expanded on somewhat. I don't feel like a lot of time was spent on evolving Miyoung and Jihoon.
I loved the concept of the nine-tailed fox and the basis of the story. However, my biggest complaint about this book was the ending. Right in the last few pages the author brought about a huge cliff-hanger, introducing a whole new plot. I understand it was to make readers want to read the second book, but it would have been better to leave a few loose ends instead of introducing something completely new! It almost felt like ending a book in the middle of a story!
