Wicked Fox was a novel embedded in Korean folklore and mythology, with one of the most enticing premises ever. And I was not disappointed by my anticipation for this novel!
This follows Miyoung, a secret Gumiho who I was rooting for the entire time. She's an extremely complex character whose point of view I absolutely *loved* reading (just saying, if she were a real life person, I would totally want to be friends with her!). Jihoon was so sweet and their romance was really slow, sure, and steady; one of my favorite aspects of the entire book. I anticipated the buildup so, so much and it left me desperately hanging to see what chemistry was going to occur between them.
The setting of modern-day Seoul is one of the most clever things, ever and I love how Kat Cho masterfully managed to infuse the mythology into a real-life current setting.
