Oh my god! This is such a great start to a truly original book. I love the combination of old traditions with modern technology. Miyoung (a gumiho knows she's a monster, knows that she has to consume gi (life energy) in order to stay alive. Nara is a young shaman, haunted by ghosts across Korea. They work together to bring justice to the dead. And THEN! We get our human boy, Jihoon. He's a gamer, a natural flirt, and a total grandma's boy. I already love him. How can I forget Dubu, the little fuzzball who causes this intersection of real and fantasy?! I can't wait to read everything that happens next, because I know I'm going to need more of the magic and demons. Oh, and of course the delicious Korean food!
