Let me start off with just so much appreciation for the increase of representation for Asians these past years. It feels amazing being able to identify with characters, and I’m so grateful for this book.
To I was very scared going into this book, because Korean culture isn’t something I know a lot of, and I was scared I wouldn’t understand some things. But after reading this it’s impossible not to become so interested in Korean culture! The myth of gumihos was not something I was familiar with, but this book definitely got me interested!
Jihoon and Miyoung were absolute page stealers and made the story even better! I loved both characters and the layers they had. In the end however, I got a little irritated with some of their decisions but I still loved the book as a whole!
