While I really don't read all that many young adult novels anymore, a cover that gorgeous and a synopsis that intriguing totally made me rethink my stance on YA. I'll admit the sample didn't immediately hook me, but the author's writing did manage to engage with me by the time I finished the sample. I'm really interested in the characters introduced, and I'm super psyched to see where the author takes the plot!
