Overall, this book was very knowledgeable and helpful. It breaks anxiety (it’s types, causes, symptoms, tools to help) very clearly and in easy to understand terms. I really enjoyed how it was broken into sections with short paragraphs and billeted list, made it seem less intimidating. I absolutely love how the appendix have the information condensed and in charts that will be very useful when I want to come back to reference the information.
For specifics, I’ve heard of a few treatments or tools but this book has brought a few new ones to my attention. Most people only suggest medication or therapy but this book details various other tools which I really appreciate. The grounding exercises are my favorite, definitely plan to try some of those next time I feel overwhelmed and anxious.
