I felt that this book was very informative. I loved that she gave real life examples of the many forms of anxiety and even included some of her own experiences. She broke down all types of anxiety and pin pointed many ways to help ease the anxiety. She helps reassure that everyone does get anxiety, but some more severe than others.

The author didn’t stigmatize anxiety or depression, which made you feel seen. She helped link anxiety to your life, environment and upbringing. She also separately broke down many other disorders that mimic and exacerbates our anxiety and ways that we can go about treating those anxious feelings. She explains how not every method is for everyone, but trying something different can change your whole perspective.

Overall, I felt this book taught me a lot and for a medical informational type book, it kept me engaged. I enjoyed the learning process unlike the boringness of textbook psychology.
