First, the GOOD.

I think this was an interesting take, and I thought that the mystery was interesting and had my attention. I liked that the novel jumped around and kept my attention (mostly--I'll discuss this in the BAD) by moving and therefore keeping itself alive. While I've seen that many other people didn't connect with the humor, I did find this book to be funny. I thought that most of the humorous attempts were subtle but did a good job without diverting from the plot.

Now, the BAD.

While I liked most of the jumping around, I was sometimes disoriented and felt like it was done because of a lack of organization rather than for a specific purpose. I also felt like even though the author states that a background on William Blake isn't needed, it would have increased my understanding immensely and made the reading experience much more enjoyable.
