First impression is the stunning cover. I am in awe.
Second is the writing style. It’s a very interesting and eye-catching writing style, but I’m not sure that it’s to my taste.
As I read further, I just was not that interested in the story. I had expected something mythological or magical from the cover, but that was not what I got (at least from the first look). That’s what I get from not reading the synopsis.
Also I know absolutely nothing about William Blake, so maybe that has something to do with my enjoyment of this book.
