I have heard of horse diving yet didn't realize that it continued until 1993 when it was finally banned due to animal cruelty. Like anything from the Wild West I have been fascinated with this type of exhibition. This may sound silly, but I did not like the prologue font or style of writing so I skipped to the first chapter. I enjoyed the telling of what was about to happen, and even enjoyed Two's letters and conversations. The descriptions were long and somewhat too much for my attention so I found myself skipping ahead paragraphs. I am intrigued by the boy who is trying to get Two's attention, and would love to know what the story is behind the boy. What is the connection? The life that she is leading sounds exciting, lonely and probably necessary in order to get away from home, find herself, and to be able to send money home to family. I am not sure that I would continue with the story; but I think there may be potential.
