This one is going to be a dnf for me. The synopsis sounds so interesting, but honestly I’m bored and I find myself just not interested in picking it up. There are a lot of different characters and honestly I don’t find myself particularly interested in their stories. I kind of wanted to wait and get to the ghost part of the book, but this has just been painful reading for me. I think it could be an interesting read for another reader and just because it’s not my cup of tea, doesn’t mean that it won’t be a five star read for someone else. It’s just not for me. It’s so slow moving and I just feel like the story isn’t going anywhere. I don’t find any of the characters particularly likeable either. Maybe if I felt a little more connection to the characters, I’d feel more invested in the story.
