“When Two Feathers Fell from the Sky”follows the stories of several employees at a zoo. While everything is business as usual at the start, bad things soon start happening to the characters, primarily the main character, a Cherokee horse diver named Two Feathers.
I liked the style of writing and overall, found the story entertaining and easy to follow. While it did take a few chapters for me to fully enjoy what was happening (and to be honest, it did take me a minute to figure out what exactly the concept of horse diving meant), I was able to fly through it once I got going. I always like reading books that tell the story several characters’ points of view, like this one. I think the author did a good job bringing them all together and wrote a satisfying ending. The characterization was well done and I learned more about a culture I knew very little about before reading.
