First off, want to say thank you to the author and publisher for providing me the copy of “When Two Feathers Fell From the sky” that this review is based on.
I enjoy reading historical fiction, and was initially drawn to this book because of the historical setting. However, I don’t feel like there was alot of detail regarding the time period. Also, after reading the first couple of chapters, I was interested on learning more about the horse diving main character Two and her horse Ocher. However, each chapter is based on a different character at the Zoo, and the horse diving (what I was interested in) was discussed very little. I think the final straw for me was the description of the stalker peeping tom who was masturbating outside of a window. Not sure what I was expecting, but that was not it!
Overall, this book seemed to move very slowly plot wise and is not something for me
