This was a thought-provoking and well-written book from what I read in the excerpt. I'd never heard of Gina Wilkinson before this. I don't usually read books involving war but the way Wilkinson has brought these women's stories together was very gripping. I think the cover is pretty but doesn't really show what the book is about.
