I was impressed by how engaging and beautiful the first few chapters were. I felt like I was immediately drenched in the beauty of this story. It seems like the author has a deep love for Baghdad that blossoms on the pages. Both Huda and Rania appear to be strong and capable characters and I look forward to seeing how they develop as the book progresses.
