The opening scene captivated me with the innocence of young friendship; I was immediately curious to see how joy and sorrow came for the girls and how their friendship changed through the years. In the following chapters, I was intrigued by the details of one of the character's lifestyles in a country different from my own. Will definitely be reading the rest of this one!
