When Harry Met Minnie captivated me from the very beginning. It was fascinating to read about the famous Union Square Farmers Market in Manhattan and how I wished Covid was over so that I could once again visit New York City. I found the storyline to be heartwarming and heartbreaking at times. Trying to play matchmaker for Harry was adorable and funny at times, but I also cried when Goose, whom Harry had become devoted to, had to be put to sleep due to heart issues. Thus, the quest for a new playmate/soulmate for Harry started again. It was a traumatic yet endearing search as Harry’s owner desperately searched for a perfect mate for Harry all while enduring her own grief after losing her mother and her mother’s beloved dog. In my opinion this is an absolutely adorable storyline that readers, especially dog and animal lovers will truly enjoy.
