Heartbreaking and Heartwarming at the same time.

I love Bull Terriers. They are the cutest and funniest! I've never owned one but I would love to. When I read the synopsis for this book, I knew I had to read it. I knew it would be terribly sad but it made me sob a couple of times. It's not all sad though. There is such a beautiful friendship that develops between Martha and Carol, and all of Carol's friends that Martha ends up meeting. And of course, the relationship between Minnie and Harry is the sweetest too. I'm sorry to say that I didn't know who Martha Teichner was before this book as I do not really watch any news shows but she is a very good author and storyteller. I feel like she really told Carol's and Harry's lives very well. This book is really worth the read. I enjoyed learning about the other Bull Terrier's in Martha's life as well as her parents. I also loved all the dogs that met at the Farmer's Market. It's heartbreaking and heartwarming story at the same time.
