I really wanted to love this book. I'll start off with saying the cover is adorable, however the book arrived late, probably due to covid and all that lovely stuff.
Now to the actual book. I just found it very hard to keep my attention and continue wanting to read it. There were some good parts for sure but I also feel like there was a lot of stuff added just to fluff the piece up, make it bigger than it needed to be. I think it has a ton of potential just needs some fluff cut out from it.
There's really not a whole lot more I can say other than it has all the potential to be really good. I do hope to read more of this author in the future and enjoy it more. I feel like it's a hard time to get into books with everything going on in the world so I don't want to judge it to harshly.
I'll probably give it another go after things settle down, just so I can give it a better chance.
