This is a beautiful story of love and friendship.
Martha Teichner tells the story of her friendship with her bull terrier. Martha has had many pets but her current best friend is Minnie and they both loved to walk around New York, especially at the farmers market where all the vendors had a treat for Minnie. Minnie's favorite treat was Mangoes! Martha meets an old acquaintance at the farmers market although she doesn't know his name only knows him by his dog. He introduces her to Carol who has a terminal illness and needed someone to take Harry when she passed away. Martha was very reluctant to take Harry but Carol knew she would take great care of Harry. There were tons of cute moments in this book and I'm so so glad i got the chance to read this. still crying this is a beautiful story. I would recommend that everyone that loves animals read this book and experience the joy.
