As I sit here writing this, I'm watching my two rescues playfully attack each other. We live in a tiny small house. Our one rescue is a mix of god knows what but is medium size. Our latest rescue is a bluetick coonhound mixed with a shepard and at 5 months old, she is much bigger than her big sister already!
I related so very much to her story of Minnie and Goose. We had Paisley for almost two years before we added Ellie Mae to the mix. Although they didn't start off as rocky as Goose and Minnie, I still understood how Goose became a mentor to Minnie. My heart broke as well reading of when Goose died.
I loved how dogs brought her to her next dog. A conversation with a man she knew only by his dog, led her to meeting Harry. Although the first look stopped just before she meets Harry, it was enough for me to know I have to read this book.
