I do have to say that this book is written very well. It's engaging and descriptive. However, I knew I wasn't going to really like it as soon as I saw the cover. I still gave it a try because who knows, but within the first few pages I just knew I wouldn't enjoy this book. Sorry, but I'm not a dog person and I can't connect to the author's perspective.
