This author does a great job of presenting her change in philosophy, using Jewish principles, without making you feel like she is trying to convert you to Judaism. She discusses her journey through the process and how it helped her. She begins with having one acknowledge where they are 'now' - how they're internally restricting themselves; then moves on to finding one's passion/purpose and moving past those internal restrictions. She states - sometimes this takes a leap of faith - ACTION! Although she discusses the process in much more detail, this is the basic gist. Some highlights - I enjoyed her discussion and definition on being a "mensch" - someone "known particularly for choosing to do the right thing for the benefit of others." Also, the concept of getting one's ego out of the way to make space for others to shine.

I would recommend this book for self-reflection and growth. I received an ARC copy of the book and all comments and thoughts are my unbiased opinion. Thanks #bookishfirst ! PenguinRandomHouse #Whatwouldyoudoifyouwerentafraid #MichalOshman
