Mysterious. Chilling. Weird. Haunting. Bizarre. Original... These are all words that I would use to describe the debut young adult book What Big Teeth by Ruth Szabo. I went into this horror novel thinking that it was going to simply be a story of werewolves. This twisted tale turned in to so much more!
After an unfortunate incident at the boarding school she attends, Elenor Zarrin runs away to the only other place she knows... home. Home is where her wild and secretive family reside in a dark and eerie mansion. Elenor remembers very little of her childhood, but as the days and months pass, and a number of additional incidents and tragedies occur, she begins to recall the past and learns the truth about her strange family... and herself.
