The cover alone was what roped me into wanting to read this book from the get-go. It reminded me of Wilder Girls, where the cover was part-normal, yet also part-sinister and dark, giving way to a darker plot background.
This is a great gothic fantasy. Eleanor has been in society, but can't shake her feral background. She leaves her society life to go back to her estranged family, but after years away everything is not as normal as it once seemed to Eleanor. She has to unite the family and herself to save them all, but it is a mystery of whether or not she can because she now stands out from them, no longer fitting in and finding it hard for herself to participate in the same activities and lifestyle she once knew as normal.
This was a great and interesting read. Anyone that loves or even just likes the fantasy genre will definitely love this book.
