I was approved for this upcoming YA Horror novel on NetGalley and dropped all my reading plans to check it out. The cover is stunning and that is what made me request it.
I struggled a bit to connect with the story because it was such a strange tale and it drops you right into the middle of the madness. I also thought the plot elements could have been fleshed out more and the fantasy/horror aspects explained more.
My favorite aspect was actually the romance, it was a unique one that really interested me. It has been a while since I picked up a novel with werewolves but I found myself really enjoying this one.
I found the writing/pacing to be a bit slow and it took away some of my enjoyment of the novel. However, the writing style was beautiful and kept me so interested that I read the novel in a single sitting.
I recommend checking out this strange and beautifully written YA Horror novel. It was a great read.
