The Cover Drew Me In
There are so many elements to this book that pulled me in and made me want to read it. The cover first and foremost is the first thing that drew me in and made me want to read this book. Another thing that drew me in before I even read the first look was that the author was a nonbinary author. I have never read a book by a nonbinary author so this would be a fantastic way to do that.
This book is written in a lyrical way that I haven't really seen before.
Eleanor is a fantastic protagonist. She has family problems; in fact she hasn't seen them in years. I'm curious to see how everything plays out with Eleanor and her family. I love the fantasy elements, but at the heart of this book is a family and I can't wait to see how that develops.
