Apart from the cover which drew me in from the very beginning before even picking up this book, the first chapter of the story was intriguing, and really makes the reader want to know more about this world and the main character (and her mysterious family). In short, as a YA reader (and a sucker for pretty covers) I would definitely pick this book up when it is published.
