I'm absolutely enthralled by this book—the fact that I can't continue reading it right this second is extremely vexing! I love the slow reveal of information and the hint of mysteries, especially these questions of why Eleanor was sent away and why her memories of her family are so unclear. I also love the surreality of the family—how there is so much wrong in it, but that wrongness is their natural state. And Eleanor is a both likable and intriguing protagonist—I am rooting so hard for her to find her place in the family and discover her own calling within their dynamic.
