I Loved this novel it was so beautifully written, and the author did a wonderful, really wonderful job of writing and portraying the characters. The mix of two characters with such unique backstories, personalities, and issues and how Anderson wrote them to intertwine was so creative and really drew mw as a reader in. The characters dedication to their families, and siblings were really captivating and admirable. Following that, the characters were easy to connect with and like-which is such an important thing to me as a reader, and most others. It was a relatively short and simple novel and was easy to follow which was really helpful. This novel got me out of a reading slump because it was that interesting!! The relation of the title to the journey the characters went through was really deep to me. The ending was slightly confusing but I made it out.
