To start with I love everything about this book. The title, the cover, the way the chapters are numbered (silly I know), the characters, and the story. I could not put this book down, it was a real page turner. It was a fast paced read, slightly dark and twisted and kept me on my toes. I give this book 5 stars. It is a must read!
The characters were all so interesting. Jack and Matty suffer through some really hard times in life. They have an inseparable bond between each other as brothers. Then Ava comes along and basically saves their lives. She was like their hero. She helped the brothers survive. Who doesn’t love a good hero?!
Throughout the story they are searching for the drug money Jack and Marty’s father hid before he went to prison. All while being hunted by a bunch of bad guys. Trying not to spoil the story but it was great and not predictable.
