This was a spur-of-the-moment decision for me, and I dropped everything to begin reading it. It's not something I'd usually choose, but I'm glad I did. I couldn't put the book down once I began reading it. The plot was absolutely engrossing, and the characters were so engaging that it was easy to root for them and become engrossed in their lives. It's beautifully written, almost poetic at times, and it's easy to get lost in the snowy atmosphere. It adds to the suspense and intrigue of the plot. This is a tale about love, family, loss, and survival in general. There is a lot to like about this book, but be prepared for your heart to be ripped out of your chest by these characters.The storyline isn't your typical young adult, the secret and I'm so happy I loved it as much as I did. It was very entertaining, it is well written.
