Wonderful beginning to a very impressionable story

There is a generally known stereotype that often beautiful covers equates to a not so beautiful story, almost as if it is making up for the lack of a good story. True to form, some of the most beautiful books I have picked up were not great stories. However, I both love this cover and the story so far. It is deep and perhaps triggering because of the content, but I love the prose and it seems to be a beautifully written coming of age story. I am anxious to read more!
