Right away I thought how beautifully this was written. The opening lines were lovely. You can tell that the main character has been hurt and experienced loss. As I read on, I learned that the character’s dad had died, the mom was addicted to prescription medicine and then she was found hanging from a ceiling fan. I completely believe that this author has a way with words but the content is not going to be something I’m likely to enjoy.
