This book screams "five stars" even in the first 27 pages. It does not shy away from the hardships in the characters' lives even so soon into the novel. The fact that within the first page of meeting Jack, the readers know that he will do anything for his brother even at the cost of hiding a tragedy from him. Similarly, within half of page of meeting Ava, we know that she is scared of something and does not like talking to people. I cannot wait to read this book. It has so much potential and promise, and I really hope it lives up to it.
