Trigger warning: The opening chapter is very disturbing and deals with suicide. I am not sure what to think of this one. The writing style was engaging, I was instantly sucked into the story. But while Jack and Ava’s story is intriguing, the subject material is very dark and may be difficult for some readers. The cover is lovely and fits with the haunting feel of the opening chapters.
