This novel surprisingly exceeded my expectations! I am not usually a huge fan of true crime novels, but I was extremely captivated and interested by this read. It had a bit of a slow start but once I continued further into the writing, I could not put it down!
This is definitely a book I would recommend for your ‘to be read’ list. The plot is very well developed and leaves readers wanting more throughout the entirety of the novel. I’m very very glad I decided to give this book a try.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because it took quite a few chapters before I was thoroughly invested in the story. Otherwise, the characters were well developed and proved to be very interesting to learn about. We Thought We Knew You is a new true crime favorite of mine!!
On another note, the cover is absolutely gorgeous and looks so pretty on my bookshelves! I recommend.
