As a fan of true crime this was such an interesting and well written book. It read just like a true crime documentary and I couldn’t stop reading from the beginning. I couldn’t believe the story and I didn’t know anything about it before reading the book. I highly recommend diving deep into this crime and hearing about all parts of it because it’s so complicated. When Mary was admitted to the hospital and no one knew what was going on my heart sank. To trust someone and bring them into your family to have them betray you is absolutely horrendous and I couldn’t imagine. It ends with a jury case and I was definitely riveted to everything that was happening - I can’t imagine being on a jury for this case. They must’ve been shocked through the entire process. Overall well written and researched and I’d recommend if you don’t already know the story
